Hello lovely!

We have a beautiful week ahead of us!  Not only because it’s time to celebrate a beautiful holiday, BUT, because it’s also time to relax, refresh, & rest.

I want you to take out a pen and paper and write yourself a permission slip to do so!

Although the holidays can sometimes be anxiety producing because of travel, hectic schedules, making decisions to please everyone (!), or even worrying about overeating or having control to say no to things…..

Here are two very important tips to get YOU on the road to Rejuvenation Highway 101 —–  ENJOY and BE PRESENT>>>

Robert Brault says, “Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.”

As with anything in life, we often look back and say, “Where has time gone?!” “Time is flying by!” “It’s already the end of the month!”

Not just because this is the week of Thanksgiving and the start of our holiday season, but because these are critical keys to remember EVERYDAY, below I want to share with you 3 tips to ensure you enjoy the all of the little things, become present and engaged, AND start to slow time down.

Remembering these 3 tips will lead you to finding rest, relaxation, and feeling refreshed….  here goes

*Start with a choice– you are the one who gets to decide how you feel and how you let others make you feel.  So, if you are feeling pressure, anxiety, stress, confusion, lack of support, etc., how can you change the outcome? Keyword–perspective.

*Do not sweat the small stuff—Laugh instead.  Smiling and laughter are contagious.  If something is happening that is out of your control, unexpected, or upsetting, take a minute and decide the depth or the weight of it.  Can you find joy in the midst?

*Give away—One of the greatest joys in life is to give, even when you can’t give.  What can you do for someone else to bring them joy?  Learning to give on the daily will change your vision dramatically!  When is the last time you were a blessing to someone else without them even expecting it?  Remember what that moment was like? Do more of those moments!

Matthew 6:34, “Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself.”

Enjoy this beautiful LIFE!  Love so deep.  Give without expecting. Encourage and touch hearts.

Happy Thanksgiving to you!!

xoxo
